Interviews with classic coin-operated game designers
I conducted these interviews (except for Tony Miller, done by Allen Brunson) many years ago for an old website I used to run, and decided to move them to this page as a sort of inspiration for those working within the limitations of Fenix for Dreamcast. These guys are legends in the gaming industry, having played a huge part in creating the industry (in Al Alcorns case, actually CREATING the industry!) that has grown to its current multibillion dollar size, and their stories remind us of a time when coinop arcade games ruled the world. These guys worked within some real limitations back in those days, and I always find these interviews very inspiring to read while working on my own games.
